We had fun putting this one together! Some of babycheeks favorites are here... and we could have added so many more but thought it best to keep it short and sweet. 
I spent hours with my little children and neice creating wonderful things out of this simple recipe. It was one of those perfect peaceful moments that will forever be etched in my holiday memories! So I thought I would this with all you...How to make it:
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F.
Mix together, salt, flour, and water until dough is formed.
Knead the dough on a floured surface until the mixture is elastic and smooth. If dough is too sticky, sprinkle with flour, continue to do so until stickiness is gone. Do not add too much flour, this will dry out the dough and will cause it to crack before you get a chance to bake it.
Roll out the dough to about ¼" thick with a rolling pin that has been dusted with flour.
Use cookie cutters to cut out as many trees and stars as you want.
Use a toothpick to make a hole toward the top of the shape. Poke the toothpick into the shape, then holding toothpick straight up and down, make a circular motion as if you were stirring something. Keep circling until the hole is the size you want.
Place all shapes onto an ungreased cookie sheet and place into the preheated oven.
Bake for 2 hours.
Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
Paint anyway you want!
When dry, thread ribbon through hole and tie in a knot in the back.

So babycheeks is updating our website to a new e-store (yay!) and we needed new photos to complete our look. So we partnered up with Shannon from Lucy Lime Studios and headed out to Derby Reach Park early yesterday morning. And I have to say... what Shannon was able to deliver to us was nothing less than amazing! Here are just a few of the many fantastically artistic photos of my kids Lily and Ethan and my niece Rachel. And trust me, the children were not behaving like the little angels they look like in these photos! Shannon was so patient and awesome to work with, she really put us all at ease and made it all very simple.
