At babycheeks, we are always visiting places that we know the kids would enjoy. Last week owner and grandma Delores, took her sweet grandgirls, Rachel & Lily to a lovely restuarant on White Rock beach.
Traceycakes Bakery Cafe is located at 15015 Marine Drive, their specialties include 40 varieties of cupcakes, high tea, along with luncheon and dinner menu's.
The wee girls were in awe with faces pressed on the glass at the variety of cupcakes that were showcased - each one pointing at several - convinced they would have them all. 'I'm having that pink one, and that one and that yellow one, and...' - so cute.
We settled in for our meal, having a lovely little sandwich luncheon, the waitress was very nice, going as far as substituting the tea for apple juice in the white individual teapots. Following the sandwich serving, the girls went along with the server to the showcase and choose one sweet cupcake each. They were mini sized - a perfect portion for young ladies. It was fun to hand over my camera to them, each taking a turn, taking pictures of each other.
Yes, it was a special time with my little girls! We will definitely do this outing again in the near future. And by the way - my coffee was delicious! Much thanks to Tracycakes for making it just a little more enjoyable.
