IMPORTANT RECALL: IKEA recalls Roller Blinds

IKEA recalls all Roller Blinds without an attached tension device--Roman Blinds and Roll-Up Blinds due to risk of strangulation.

If you have an IKEA Roller Blind without an attached tension device, Roman Blind or Roll-Up Blind, please bring it back to your local IKEA for a full refund. IKEA has decided to make a proactive, precautionary recall; the action is performed in collaboration with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission. If installed incorrectly cords and looped bead chains could present a strangulation hazard to young children. To reduce the risk of entanglement or strangulation always keep cords and looped bead chains out of reach of young children. Install safety devices and reduce the access to cords and bead chains. Move cots and furniture that children could climb on away from blinds and shades. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
